My Birthday

Birthdays aren't my favorite thing in the world. It's not the fact that I am getting older. I'm not old enough to complain about my age. Although I feel about ten years older than I am. This year I planned that I would take the day off from work and be all by myself. Well, I took the day off, but didn't end up by myself. I thought that's what I wanted, but It wasn't at all.
I ended up having such a fun birthday. Money is always an issue since I am the only one currently working while Jeremy is in school and I've always wanted to go to the show Good Things Utah and watch from the audience. It ended up that I got to go and two of my three sister inlaws went with me. It was a blast! I had so much fun with them. It was really neat being on a set of a tv show. That evening my son had a soccer game so we got to go to that and watch him. Once that was done we went home for cake, which I am always up for cake if you know me at all. All in all it was a great birthday and now I'm not dreading the next one. :)

Why I love them!

Owen Evan Beecher
I LOVE every inch of him!

I love his sincere side. He always tells me he loves me. He runs to me when I get home from work and yells mom! I love that if there is a slow song that touches his heart, he cries. (He gets that from Papa Beecher)

I love how protective Owen is of his sister. If someone looks at his sister wrong it makes him upset.
I love that he sticks up for himself. He knows right from wrong and he will tell you if he needs to.

I love how imaginative he is. He is always playing like he is a character from a movie.

I love how he uses the phrase "Can I window my window", for rolling down his window in the car. Also, "Mom, do you want a sage?", for massage.
I love that I get to be his mother and see him grow. I love my son SO much!

Avery Leigh Beecher
I LOVE every inch of her!

I love how independent Avery is. Since the day she was born it seems. She wouldn't even let us feed her unless she was by herself with a blanket holding the bottle while she laid on her side.
I love the fact she only has room in heart for one teddy bear. No other bear will cut it. There is one

I love that she has changed our families vocabulary. Nink for drink and nack for snack. We literally talk just like her.

I love that she is always laughing and smiling.
I love that Avery completely changed my mind about having a daughter, she is completely irreplaceable.
I love my children! They are MY reasons for getting up every morning and fighting whatever battle that may lay ahead. MUAH!

Bear Lake

Last weekend we went to Bear Lake as a family and it was so much fun. We got there fairly early, before it got too hot. We set up a spot on the north beach. Owen and Avery played in the water and sand of coarse. It was a nice little getaway. Before we headed back we had the famous raspberry shakes.

Seven Years and Counting

Jeremy and I started dating on July 17, 2003. Yesterday was our seven year anniversary. Man how time flies. I can't believe how much has changed in our relationship since than. I truly am so grateful for him. In the last seven years we have never broken up, we've had two gorgeous children, had some great jobs, had some not so great jobs, been laid off, moved many times, had horrible luck, had great luck and most of all loved each other throughout it all. I feel so blessed that I have someone that really does love me uncondtitionally. I'm excited to see what the next seven years brings.

When Jeremy and I met we were with friends at a bon fire in the mountains above Bountiful. We went there yesterday to find the spot we met. It was a blast, there were people in our spot so we found a new spot. It really was so nice getting away just the two of us.

Look at all the fun we had!

Swimming Lessons

Owen has been taking swimming lessons for the past 5 weeks. He absolutely loves the water. Owen is starting to float on his back and is learning his arm movements. I am so proud of him!

Independence Day

I have had the best Fourth of July! I love this holiday! I think it is so important to celebrate the freedom that we have in America. We are truly blessed to live here! Thanks to all those that have served our country and those that are still fighting today! There are no words to express the gratitude that I feel towards those that give us our freedom.

God bless America!

My home away from home

Recently at work they have been changing our cubicles around. It has been a really long process. Now that it is all done, I am way happy with how it turned out. I know it's not very exciting for
anyone else, but it's very exciting to me!
